I think its the perfect choice. Thank God they didnt choose Tabu! She would have made everything seem the same as she did in Chandni Bar and (ugh) Zindagi Khoobsurat Hai (it most definitely wasnt).
Where were you when Indira Gandhi was assassinated? I was in third standard in a convent in South India when we got the news. The whole school was shut down and the school arranged for special vans to take us all home immediately. It was so scary. The stupidest part was that someone said that movie star Rekha had shot Indira and this news was passed on to our teacher who was this stupid woman who was really hyperventilating by that time. When I went home and told my parents that Rekha killed the Prime Minister they scolded me and said I was too imaginative and dumb (as usual). I'll never forget that day due to all these things!!!!
