Muskurahat is crying out for a good DVD release - this is one top film (if only they had a different hero!).

I remember hearing a little about Yeh Zindagani when I was a kid, but can't recall any details - can you give us a star cast and a brief synopsis please?

bhaskar..
Yeh Zindagani stars.. Sanjeev Kumar

dont know the actress.. i believe she was one of the short timer, you will see in few films on side roles. as far as what i remember about the movie, it's based on faith (Hinduism).

hero's treats life as math.. you work hard you get paid.. that's it.. there is noone else who can help you, only your own self. plain story.. brilliant acting by SK!

talking about faith.. i also like "MAALIK - Rajesh Khanna".. that's a good one too..

:)

'Yehi Hai Zindagi' was the remake of a South Indian film (dont know the name). Seema Deo acted opposite SK in the movie. It was a simple story indeed. One of the best scenes in the movie is when Lord Krishna appears in front of the protagonist (SK playing an atheist) and asks him what does he need to be happy. SK laughs at the Lord (who's bedecked in typically out-of-the-world clothes) and asks him

'Kaunsi nautanki company mein kaam karte ho?'

Ofcourse to this Krishna disappears after muttering 'Tathaastu' and all of SK's wishes are fulfilled and this keeps happening at important junctures of his life.

A rather simplistic way of telling the old tale of how one should also have faith in the powers of the supreme one...

Without doubt great acting by Sanjeev Kumar (as usual...he never failed in roles he relished).
