Man!! all is well, agree with bajpai and nana patekar..but AKSHAY kumar..a.k.a khiladi!! yaaro..give me a break, you are putting him in class with Dilip kumar, raj kumar, Amitabh and Sanjeev kumar!!

arsh - no one even mentioned akshay kumar!!! I think you're imaging things :D :D

ok best performances:
Amitabh Bachchan - Deewar, Aks, Abhimaan, Agneepath, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Sharaabi, Silsila, Aankhen (way too over the top just like it was meant to be), even Sholay (for supporting)

SRK - DDLJ, Ram Jaane, Dil Se, Devdas

Sanjeev Kumar - Laakhon Ki Baat, Angoor, Trishul (I haven't seen that many of his movies)

Anil Kapoor - Lamhe, Parinda, Eeshwar, Ram Lakhan, Meri Jung, Taal (over the top)

Dharmendra - every single movie he's in , even his shit ones - but my favourite is Chupke Chupke and Ram Balraam

Ajay Devgan - Zakhm, Lajja, Takshak, Vijay Path, Dhanwaan, Company

Manoj Bajpai - Satya, Kaun, Road, Aks

Raj Kapoor - Only seen two but they're enough to qualify him as one of the greatest - Shri 420 and Mera Naam Joker

Kamal Haasan - Sadma, Hindustani (Indian), Abhay, Ek Duje Ke Liye, Saagar

Aamir Khan - Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Raja Hindustani, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Raakh, Sarfarosh, and the Hyderabidi sequence in Baazi

now.. doesn't this more accurate ;) Almost every artistes in indian cinema made atleast few memorable movies. It takes more than that to be an all time favourite.. I beleive above ones have that quality.
