If there is one actor who is most likely to rake in most of the awards at the coming bunch of award shows, it is definitely going to be Shah Rukh Khan. With a divine performance in Devdas, alongwith his co-stars, he resurrected himself from the relatively anonymity of Asoka.

But after Devdas the actor had to take a lot of time off due to health and creative reasons. The time off for Khan did in no way mean seclusion from his career because the hottest star in Bollywood today has announced the next set of movies that he will be performing in and releasing next year. The most prestigious is definitely Ashutosh Gowariker’s Desh. It was initially a surprise that Aamir Khan, Ashutosh’s good friend, decided against taking up the lead role but not being one to waste time, the director finally found his hero in SRK. Apart from these, Shah Rukh’s home productions are also in production stages: one directed by Aziz Mirza and the other, a directorial debut by choreographer Farah Khan. Last but not least, close friend Karan Johar has roped in the actor for his next venture to be directed by Nikhil Advani.

From the looks of it, apart from this year, Khan might even be poised to sweep the awards in 2004 as well but that is unless Hrithik’s next film with Farhan Akhtar (Laksh) doesn’t work at the BO or if Aamir doesn’t do another Lagaan
