I just came across the BFI site on south asian films. I saw the Bangladeshi top ten.

I was wondering if any people had any reviews on the bangla films or know where I could get them from?

I have only one Bangla DVD, that is of Humayun Ahmed's "Dui Duari". Print is OK. Nothing great on technical front, but movie is good.

If you are in New York area, then you can get all Bangladeshi DVDs in Muktadhara at Jackson Heights, Queens. They have lots to choose from. Price range $16-$20.

No info on those movies, but some Bengali DVDs are available at calcuttaweb.com - the only two I have are Utsab (YRF) which is available at most online retailers, and Antarghaat, which I got from Calcuttaweb - screenshots here:

I was after the reviews/information of the films listed on the site.
It is very hard to get info on them, its even harder to find a copy of the films for a viewing.

Some of the films only get a limited/confined showing and are never released on VHS or any other mediam.
