Road"´s Magnum Release

Following this week´s two biggies Shakti and Gunaah, next week will see the release of the much anticipated Road.
Not only is it Rajat Mukherjee´s next film after the succesful Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya but it is produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The thriller features Manoj Bajpai in a psycho role after Aks and brings back Vivek Oberoi and Antara Mali to the screen.
But for the first time, Ram Gopal Varma is going to greater heights for his release of the film. Varma is known for his low key releases which usually end up being in his favor. But with Road he has teamed up for a number of special promotions for the film both in India and overseas.
There will be several "sneak peaks" at Road in Mumbai. This will allow a select few to see the film before anyone else and spread the word. In overseas, the distributors Media Partners, a new company who last released Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein are planning several sweepstakes for the film.
Those who go to see Road and submit their tickets they have the opportunity to meet the stars, win a DVD player or a DVD of a new release. Let´s hope Road is good enough and these promotions will work in its favor!
