The funny thing is i got a reply from emailing eros@erosintl.co.uk and they said that they don't even have a release date for the DVD or VHS so i can only preorder--so where are these supposed release dates coming from like the 20th,27th, and 30th?? Oh and by the way i saw an ad for the DVD on AVS this Saturday(with no release date like the previous ad) and they actually showed the outer cover sleeve plus the inner cover!! The inner cover is like the CD cover & the outer cover is black with these three portraits in one row:

indiaplaza states the 27th too but i have heard the 20th too. i havent heard anything about the 30th... does anyone know how to post the dvd trailor taht was shown on avs (the new one)

Well!meri AWAAZ suno! no date ??I saw preview of DVD with dvd of ECSLS! showing all these features, 2 dvd set, but NO DATE! :baaa: :bangbang:

This just in from planetbollywood.com -->

"In the past where Indian DVD´s have been extremely dissapointing EROS International is taking the final step in releasing an excellent DVD for this year´s biggest success Devdas.

DVD´s for recent big films have been quite dissapointing and no one is aware of this more than EROS. In fact, given the success of the film the company has taken the extra step to bring out an excellent DVD.

The two-disc DVD set will feature subtitles in a variety of languages. It will feature unseen scenes, and much more. The extra DVD will feature all of the media occurences regarding Devdas. This includes the premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, N.Y., etc. Interviews with all of the stars including the team. In addittion it will also feature "The Best Scenes" from films featuring the main lead, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri and Aishwarya Rai.

The DVD will be officially released on September 27th."

so here
quality dvd means lots of extras
but the video quality doesn't qualify as a requirement
it could be the same
