Unfortunetly a bad company (SKY) had to come out with it, oh well I am getting it as I love this movie and Jaggu Dadda along with Amrish Puri have superb performances! The jail scene in which Amrish Puri is feeding Jaggu after he beats still brings tears to my eyes...

yes indeed, the other one is amrish/sunny combo in GHATAK!
BUT keep us posted abt this most likely bad dvd of good film...isn't dimple kapadia in this film, too!?

I will try to post some screen shots, when I get the disc, if possible as my DVD rom is srewing up on me for some reason...but I will try...

Excellent Storyline.. Excellent Direction.

this is the movie where Annu Kapoor does a comedy of getting rich and having business of beggers. :D

I have been waiting for this DVD for a long, long time. In fact when I first started collecting DVDs I had this one on top of my list. Its out. Unfortunetly by a crappy DVD company and its 9.99 at IW. Urbanlegend broke the news on this forum a while ago. If ANYBODY has this DVD in their posession and could post screen shots I would appreciate. I want to get it and I will probably no matter what. Well, almost no matter what, the only way I will not get it is if its even worser than a VHS copy or severely bad or not complete or something drastic like that. Thanks again urbanlegend and if you or anyone else has screen shots of this fantastic film I would appreciate it.

i purchased this dvd when it came out....the sound quality sucks....when the bass hits, it messes the sound....its converted in dolby digital....the picture quality is ok.....well i dont think any other brand is going to release this movie, so i say get it....it is indeed a very good movie....priyadarshans one of the best....

God, they really screwed this one up didn't they............ :angry: :ffs:

I guess I'm gonna have to wait until IW puts it on sale - does anyone know what the VCD quality is like?

I had the original VCD a while back, it was ok but alot of scenes cut out...

So, you thought the SKY Gardish DVD was bad.................it's a masterpiece compared the GVI version.
