Will the heroine of 'Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai' and 'Hadd Kardi Aapne' and baby Rani Mukherjee of the Khandala fame, will be out of Bollywood? It is said that she placed her career at stake in her latest movie 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge' as her films were flopping. She was banking on 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge' until it was released. But according to reports, the movie has flopped.

Industry circles are buzz with the news that Rani will be out of the Bollywood. Rani is wondering why? She says that this movie was not a usual Bollywood masala of a triangular love tale. The story is based on friendship of two girls with a boy and not the love affair involving them. Even at the time of climax, both the girls understand each other well, giving no place for any misunderstanding between them. However, both of them have different concepts of culture. While one believes in traditional Indian culture, the other favours liberal approach. Rani recalls how she declined to work with Aamir Khan in his internationally reputed movie 'Lagaan' because of date hassles of MDK. Rani was excited with her performance in this movie.

Rani Mukjerjee has Chori Chori (Ajay Devgan), Saathiyan (Vivek Oberoi), Rakt (Anil Kapoor, Manisha Koirala) and Chalo Ishq Ladayen (Govinda) due for release in the next few months.

Mujse Dosti Karoge has done average business in India due to its high price being a Yash Raj Production. The film is a big hit in the overseas, especially the U.K. where it is one of the all-time hits for Indian films.

Which just goes to show how dumb some NRIs. I went to rent Agnivarsha today and the guy before me was renting MDK. I wanted to take the DVD away from him and tell him that he'd most likely already seen it. I can always pretend that he has a 4 year old who likes the recent Yash Chopra films ???
