Aamir Khan in LAGAAN? Now this is a different story!IMHO>
LAGAAN, as a theme and Film was based on strong characters, all with ABSOLUTELY SUPERB TEAM WORK where KACHRA is as impt as a character as BHUVAN!
IMHO..U can not make Aamir stand out as the BEST THING in LAGAAN!It was a Different deal ther!Every actor performed their role as well as AAMIR did!
NOW DCH is a different Story, where he Stood out, making people admit/believe that he is not 38, just 25 yrs old, with a panache and IMMENSE success!!

LAGAAN and DEVDAS are two different films..Still my BOTTOM line is DEVDAS can not beat down to earth sincerity of LAGAAN and is no LAGAAN as far stature of film is concerned.

DEVDAS is no PAKEEZAH, UMRAO JAAN AND MUHL E AZAM either. It is just AAJ KA DEVDAS, would be a better name though!
Now dont tell me as DILIP was Saleemin Mughle Azam, so if REMADE Aishwill be MADHUBAALA and SRK will be Prince Salim???
