Any idea who is doing the DVD? Sorry for being totally clueless, but do Filmfour do their own DVDs?

If Golden Globe is an indication of how the Oscar will turn out then I think Monsoon Wedding would have been nominated if India had sent instead of Lagaan. But personally I am happy that Lagaan is being sent as I said before since it is the perfect Bollywood film.

FilmFour have done DVDs done in the past - it's usually joint effort from VCI and FilmFour - Brother DVD was from FilmFour.

As part of the asian woman film festival in london BFI was showing some Indian films to film students doing AVCE advance course. Monsoon Wedding was one of them, as was Astitva, Bhawadar, Bandit Queen, Mother India, DDLJ & a short british asian movie called Sari and trainers (which was shite). Glad to hear the film got nominated. Do go and watch this film and you'll see why I have voted my number one movie of the year...

Though Amile will win the award as its a wonderful visual experince that all film lovers must see...
