Finally, you get an opportunity to experience a wonderful DVD on your home theater.
The DVD has excellent colors, sharpness and is extremely clean with no artifacts or disortion. The 5.1 mix is dynamic, as usual and has ZERO distortion.
What I can conclude is that it is as good as a DVD authorized by DEi
Video
There's great sharpness with crystal clear images formed. Colors are natural and soothing, pretty thematic for such a touching film.
Its great news that a proper source has been used, therefore, the DVD is progressive (NTSC, 24f/s )
Contrast and Brightness is set just right, hence, a very realistic view for one's eyes.
The brilliant anamorphic transfer has no mess-up with the aspect ratio, and is presented almost correctly in its original 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
Overall, brilliant Picture Quality with no cons, in my opinion.
Audio
Great Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround audio with great dynamic effects and ZERO distortion!!!
Excellent digital quality no dropouts, crackles, hisses, etc.
The channels mix well, there's no strain, whatsoever and prominent surround.
I haven't got time to test the audio as such, but from what I heard till now, I wrote it down
