Hey guys,
I wonder if u have heard or seen about this T.V. show called "American Idol"...people from around the U.S. are auditioned and picked for a competition where one out of hundred will be picked to be a pop singer.
Now i was skeptic about this show (since its REALITY) but when i watched it today i was suprised how good this show really was...the first episode shows auditions from major cities in US and i must say it was hilarious (and emotional sometimes) to see people come out with their "talents"!
Its on Fox channel if u wanna catch it on T.V.

After seeing some of the commercials, I don't know if I want to watch it. Seeing that British dude saying, "You are the worst singer we have ever heard" is a little off-putting

This is a spin of from the British version of Pop Idol. We had the same British Dude doing the UK version. Overall an average show with a few good one liners.
The winner in UK was Will Young.

Are there any asians on the US show taking part?

The UK contests were horrible didn't see one Asian amongst them! Sad really as we need some more singers and talent to save us from the heap of crap I am hearing from the UK Asian scene - too much copying from the likes of So Solid Crew and USA hip-hop....isn't it Panjabi Hit Squad :sneaky:

I have now heard rumours of this new show in the USA that pays homeless people to beat each other up!!

I will be partaking in that at the end of the year, what with all these cool DVD releases coming up :p
