I think, I did post a thread with a Picture, Helen or J shree T dancing,

It was Helen in GUMNAM.

Was it not Laxmi Chaya in the 'Jaan Pehchaan Ho' song sequence...I know Helen stars in GUMNAAM but am confused with who appears in this particular song sequence....

The Chaudhvin clip is also a minute or so only.

Well, then we'll get a bit longer HD clip in Salaam Bombay . It had 2 - 4 min clip from Mr India. Don't remember if it was shot off the screen or real film clip inserted??

It's a shame, Indian Film Industry is eons behind in it's will to provide HD content.

'East is East' is another non-Bollywood film which might get a HD release before any Bollywood Film releases in HD. Perhaps the next HD clip from an Indian Film will be a 6 min clip of 'Chaudhvin Ka Chand' that was in 'East is East'

It shows a clip from Professor (1962) too. From the song 'Main Chali Main Chali'.

I hope we get to see that in HD or we have ??

I completely agree with you. We only do that our new movies - To hell with the Bollywood Classics..

By the way, the channel Zee Cinema HD has shown old movies like Deewar, Sholay, Seeta Aur Geeta, Sangam, Deewar, Sharabi, Muqaddar Ka S, Ram Teri Ganga M, etc.

Here the aspect ratio is mostly presented correctly. 4:3 Films are pillar boxed (Some are cropped). All are shown in a restored manner without speckles, noise, dust particles, shakes, jerks, etc.
