'Rowdy Rathore' Continues Rock Steady Run

'Rowdy Rathore' was rock steady on its third Monday with collections around the 1.75 crore nett mark. The drop is just 15-20% from Friday. It was a similar story last week. The third week should cross the 15 crore nett mark and film should be around the 125 crore nett mark after three weeks.

It has been noticed that that 'Rowdy Rathore' has really been super strong over its last two Mondays with minimal drops. This is probably due to fact that the new releases over the last two weeks 'Shanghai' and 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' have limited appreciation.

In some circuits the drop is just 5-10% from Friday. BLOCKBUSTER

'Rowdy Rathore' Hits Half Century In Mumbai

Rowdy Rowdy hit the 50 crore nett mark in Mumbai circuit in its fifth weekend. It is the third film in history to hit the magical 50 crore mark after Three Idiots and Golmaal 3. Films like Dabangg, Bodyguard, Agneepath and Ready have failed to achieve this feat.

Golmaal 3 grossed nearly 51 crore nett in Mumbai and Rowdy Rathore will just edge past that film to become the second highest grossing film ever in Mumbai after Three Idiots which grossed 79 crore nett approx. Even if the nett business falls short of Golmaal 3 by a few lakhs in the circuit, the distributor share will be bigger.

Rowdy Rathore has been phenomenal in Gujarat as it has grossed over 25 crore nett in the state of Gujarat (inc Gujarat and Saurashtra). The business is just 10% lower than Three Idiots in Gujarat. BLOCKBUSTER

'Rowdy Rathore' May Emerge all Time Biggest Earner In Rajasthan

Rowdy Rathore hit the 130 crore nett mark in five weeks. The film may become the biggest earner ever in Rajasthan.

Rowdy Rathore is very close to emerging the biggest earner ever in Rajasthan and crossing Bodyguard and Three Idiots in terms business from Rajasthan.

Bodyguard and Three Idiots gave a distributor share of 5.35 crore approx in Rajasthan and Rowdy Rathore will cross the 5.25 crore mark after five weeks. Rowdy Rathore has already left Dabangg and Ready behind which did a distributor share of approx 4.75 crore and 4.25 crore respectively.

The nett business in Rajasthan is already the second highest crossing Bodyguard and behind only Three Idiots. BLOCKBUSTER

7. Ready - 45.39 crore

8. Agneepath - 44.97 crore

9. Housefull 2 - 44.35 crore

10. Ghajini - 41.71 crore
