Vishwaroop is a bilingual film – produced, written and directed by the legendary Kamal Hassan. Titled Vishwaroop in Hindi and Vishwaroopam in Tamil, the film also stars Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah, Jaideep Ahlawat and Shekhar Kapur (cameo).

Made on a budget of approximately 150 crores, Vishwaroop is one of the costliest films ever made in India. After a prolonged pre-production stage, the film went on floors in August 2011 after Kamal Hassan took over the directorial reigns from Selvaraghavan.

Vishwaroop is a spy-thriller filmed in cities like Chennai, London and Jordan. It’s scheduled for theatrical release in August 2012.

Haasan himself put this trailer up on twitter, which has premiered at IIFA 2012 in Singapore.
