Alright here are some screen shots I had sent in from an anonymous source - more later The top is from the new anamorphic DVD, below is from the old DTPH DVD. Both authored by Super Digital.

Which is better? Well the person who sent me the shot was impressed by the new anamorphic DVD. The DVD has better colour saturation unlike the over-done colours on the first DVD of DTPH - especially on the reds.

But – I was not impressed by it. The sharpness is worse on the anamorphic DVD – this is because it’s a re-processed DVD from the old non-anamorphic master. To cut costs and dupe the customers the old DVD has been re-processed and artificially blow-up (resized) to anamorphic spec DVD. So in effect you will not noticed any difference in detail between the two DVDs – either on a widescreen or normal 4:3 TV.

I hate to say this but I told you so, I knew YRF would use the orignal beta master for the anamorphic version. People the non-anamorphic version would be much better in quality as the transfer from the 35mm print was done in non-anamorphic mode, thus this anamorphic DVD isn't the real thing, its just a way to con us out of more money.

Will KKHH be simiarly crap like this dvd? I already have DTPH non anamorphic so im not too bothered about it. I want KKHH and am wondering whether to buy the one already released or to wait for the new one.
