They were together in Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin before and the film was Average (Big feat to be called Average when 90% of the films are classified Flops or Disaster). Sanjay did not have a Munna Bhaii MBBS then.

Just the pairing of Sanjay Dutt and Aish makes it's curiousity value sky high. Plus it's a Pritish Nandy film/ presentation.

They werent exactly together in that film, but then I guess they were :? In this film they should be together going by the poster work. I have also wanted to see them together since Aishwarya entered filmdom.

Sanjay Dutt's role in Shabd was offered to Ajay Devgan andalso to Akshay first. They refused. Finally the role went to Sanjay Dutt. I think, Sanjay Dutt is a more sell-able name now after the success of MBBS.

Aishwarya Rai will feature in Pritish Nandy Communication's forthcoming film, Shabd. Directed by debutante Leena Yadav, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan.

Shabd is a thriller about a writer (Dutt), his second wife (Rai), and a professor (Khan). Interestingly, Dutt's role was first offered to Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar.

With music from Vishal-Shekhar, the film will go on the floors in June.

BTW! Beside AISH' presence, SANJU as KOOL MUNNA BHAII, in HKKN was SOLO saving GRACE of that film..

In the posts above, it's clear, Aish is playing Sanju's 2nd wife.

So, did you mean, Aish could play his (zayed's) daughter :)
