Hi All

I am going to NY tomorrow (arriving at Grand Central Station) and I want to go to Jackson Heights to buy some DVDs and my wife wants some clothes.

I haven't got a clue of the best way of getting there from Grand Central Station in NY. Could someone help?

Also - if someone could recommend somewhere good to eat there I'd really appreciate it! :D

This may be too late, I just saw your post. If by chance I caught you in time, take the shuttle train at Grand Central to Times Square and change to the E train to Queens and get off Roosevelt station ( 3 or 4 stops). Try Jackson diner if you like buffet style. Food is excellent. Also remember you can haggle the price of DVD's and watch out for pirated stuff.

This is perfect - we are going tomorrow morning!

When you say haggle for DVDs could you give me some suggested prices for new / old DVDs? I'm only going to buy hologrammed DVDs (hate getting pirates!)
