My mum and I saw The Great Khali (Dalip Singh) on WWE Heat last week, and we were like WOWed and awed! He is like Andre The Giant, but a lot bigger since Andre was 6'10" and Khali is 7'0-1/2 " and weighs 408 lbs. Singh is a Punjabi from India.

Here are more pics of Khali (Dalip Singh)-

The guy is impressive to look at obviously, but judging by his performances so far in WWE, he's utterly hopeless as a wrestler.

Aren't professional wrestling matches just fixed events? I don't think that "wrestling skill" plays into it very much. So long as you are charismatic (the "crowd" likes you) and have good business-sense, you'll probably do all right.

Wrestling skill matters more than ever these days. Fans won't put up with slow-paced muscleheads all the time anymore. Charisma only goes so far - if a wrestler can't also put on a spectacular, athletic show then they don't last.

Kali beat Undertaker on lastnight's PPV. By the way, Sonjay Dutt (no! not Sunjay Dutt, but Sonjay with a O between the s & n) on the TNA roster is one desi that shines with in-ring talent.
