Stupid question alert! Are there any HDMI to component cables available? I am looking to connect my Boxee box to my Hauppauge PVR to record streaming content, but the Boxee box only has an HDMI output, and the Hauppauge only has component inputs.

Hmm! Check monoprice.com, they have almost every thing!

But fix your thread as looking the title, going HDMI to Composite seems like a joke lol. But going component make sense! But how shall u take audio?

I was looking for something similar a while ago and I couldn't find it. I think that as the signals are digital to analogue you would need a convertor in between. So look out for a converter box instead of a cable.

There is no such thing as a 'HDMI to Component Cable'. HDMI carries only digital signals, whereas Component is Analog, thus the only way this is possible is via a HDMI to Component converter -> http://www.hdtvsupply.com/hdtocoad.html

PS: The only exception to the above is with devices that have the provision to support HDMI to RCA analog connections.

Thanks for the advice guys. Sorry it was a stupid question, but like I said, I wasn't sure of whether this is possible, or whether there were any cables with inbuilt converters.
