you request the tech guy to remove the region coding chip -- right?
any other way?
(dvd players, not pc dvd drives)

Depending on what DVD player it is, it might be a matter of entering a code via the remote to make it region free. Some DVD players from Poineer & Sony required chips to placed inside the players to by pass the region coding. Not heard of people removing the 'region coding chip' if such a thing exists?

I thought in INDIA every thing was multi system region free?
