 Post subject: DVD recorder question

A technical question for you guys - I've just bought a DVD recorder, and I was playing around with it yesterday. I taped a couple of short clips from TV onto a DVD-RW disc, but my computer couldn't find anything on the disc. When I put it back into the DVD recorder, the clips played fine. Any ideas why they didn't show up on the comp?

Try to close the session on recoder.

DVDs need to be finalised on DVD recorders before they become compatible with other machines....

I find my DVD-R compatible with more machines than DVD-RW.

maybe its recording to DVD RAM..my cousin has the same problem on his pioneer..
