Interesting that the below 2 articles wont name him but the Zee report(the 3rd one does). Apparently they were on AajTak TV hitting out at each other.

and then a similar report in DNA

And finally this....looks like this is all over the Net now....the scribe in war is Subhash.k.Jha per the below article :

Firstly, I had no clue that Subhash K. Jha was gay. Secondly, now I wonder if the same can be applied to someone like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, since he and Jha share close friendly relationship. Also, since the former's physical postures are very girly-like.

On a whole, its interesting that the Mumbai film industry is becoming more forward about homosexual issues and isn't easily willing to brush it under the rug to deny it's presence.

This link headline is:
Sonu Nigam alleges sexual harassment by senior journalist

-------------------------

Is he really a senior journalist ??
After glancing through his book "Essential Guide To Bollywood" it's obvious he is a pile of shit. The book has so many major mistakes/ biased reporting/ omissions etc that it'll a take a book to list them.

Some Examples:

Sholay is listed as a hit but ranked # 10 for the 70s decade.

Mughleazam doesn't make it to the list of Top 10 hits of 60s decade.

He states that Dilip Kumar was supposed to be in the role that Guru Dutt played, for the film Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam. When Dilip didn't show up for the shoot, Guru Dutt played the role himself. We all know it was for Pyasa.

------------------

He also stated that Geeta Dutt refused to sing for Waheeda Rehman in Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam ?? Is it true ?? There are a few songs sung by Geeta Dutt in S B G.

He also stated that Kagaz Ke Phool was the first Hindi film shot in Cinemascope. This might be true ??

Not sure about the others but Geeta Dutt's songs in SBAG were not picturised on Waheeda Rehman - only on Meena Kumari. Although beyond Pyaasa I cannot recall right now which movies did have Waheeda Rehaman singing Geeta's songs! Whether this was a refusal or because Geeta's voice suited Meena Kumari more than Waheeda I do not know. I must admit that Geeta's songs in SBAG sounded like they had Meena Kumari's soul in them.

I think KKP was the first hindi Cinemascope film released.

this is indeed true and it was also promoted as such (do i also remember seeing it in the film's opening credits, i wonder now).

BTW here's a fascinating write-up on Geeta Dutt nee Roy
