One of the worst films I've seen in some time — I think I actually gagged once or twice as I forced myself to sit through the entirety of Shakalaka Boom Boom. Altogether, it feels as though the movie consists of nothing but ten too many painfully banal soliloquys, myriad half-assed montages (you know, those things you can throw into a movie whenever you don't want to put in the effort of writing out any real lines for your characters), and one disturbingly horrible performance by Upen Patel. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, after all, that IndiaFM's Taran Adarsh felt inclined to grant this raucous piece of super-shit the rating, "three out of five"; after all, Adarsh is probably the Upen Patel of film critics...
