Given Suneel Darshan's lack of any directing skills, and the dismal trailers, I have a feeling this week's release Shaka Laaka Boom Boom will spell doom for cine-goers who venture to the multiplex for it. Trailers are so abysmal, I'm betting it will go down as one of the worst rated "BIG" movies in history. (What Kangana Ranaut is doing in it and why her dialogue delivery is so bad should be the biggest surprise!)

How this man keeps churning out films one after the other is beyond me. He fooled me once with a semi-tolerable Ek Rishtaa, but all his other films be it Jaanwar, Dosti, Barsaat and Mere Jeevan Saathi have all stunk to kingdom come. Yet they succeed regularly in Bihar and Britain. What do these audiences see that the rest of us don't???

Any bets on whether you'll be able to sit through this one without wanting to slit your wrists?

Nothing, they have bad taste. Asian families will see anything that is well promoted. It's like a tradition that they have to go every weekend to see a bollywood film, not matter how awful it is. I hate them for making so many crap films sucessful. KANK was the biggest stinker of the lot and it did well at the Box office.

I will simply not go to see this. I've vowed to boycott all bad bollywood films. The title song by Himesh was enough to make me want to slit my wrists. I understand Himesh is going to quit singing soon, but does he have to kill us before that time comes.

As expected, a glowing review from Mr Adarsh up on Indiafm:

http://www.indiafm.com/movies/review/12932/index.html

What I did notice though, is that the first half of the 'review' has been cut and pasted from the official SLBB website..........and this guy thinks he's a respected reviewer?!?

not a surprise from taran saaheb, but glad to see most others have confirmed my instincts.

the flick stands at aggregate 40% rating at allbollywood.com, and i'm expecting it to go lower... like celina's cleavage in the movie, the latter which at least i do not mind. 8) :D
