Water, Red, 1971, Sarhad Paar flop
Last week, a variety of films hit the theatres.
Water, which got the best reviews, is Deepa Mehta's tragic tale of widows forced into prostitution. 1971 is one of the best recent war films. While Red oozes oomph, Sarhad Paar is a complex tale about terrorists and a prisoner of war.

Trade pundit Vinod Mirani delivers his verdict on the box-office fate of the films.

Note: Films are ranked according to their release dates.
