This Anoushka is Ravi Shanker's daughter. Don't know if it's same Anoushka in Viruddh.

I just realised that it's not the same one. the one in virudh is AnouSHA, last name Dandekar.

Anoushka should win ... she is an excellent sitar player. I was fortunate to see her in concert in London a couple of years ago. Ravi Shankar was in the audience (we were sat just behind him). The place was packed and the concert was suberb. I have all of her CDs ... great stuff.

I would also like Asha to win - and maybe due to her recent collaboration she may do - however, personally I did not like the Kronos Quartet album ...
