Cheran’s Film In The Doom

Cheran’s latest film ‘Thavamai Thavamirundhai’ (`TT`) is into hot waters of late. The film slated for Diwali release is unlikely to make it to the theatres due to various problems.

Cheran had first planned the film for producer Muruganandan. But later, a rich industrialist Arulmozhi was roped in as the new producer after the actor and Muruganandan had difference of opinion.

Then Arulmozhi settled Muruganandan without getting the clearance letter from the distributors. Now, the distributors are demanding compensation for the advanced money they had paid for the film. Adding more fuel to the fire, Arulmozhi had sued Muruganandan in the court without consulting the producers’ council or the distributors’ association.

Now, poor Cheran is at the receiving end. He is trying all he could to release the film on Diwali. But the film is likely to be delayed with Muruganandan claiming that his money is still blocked in the project.

Rest of them are good melody but not sure if inspired from IR. Good songs in general, except the pathos.
