Times Of India has featured a nice "25 Must See Bollywood Films" list, with synopsis, on their site.

http://movies.indiatimes.com/articlesho ... ndi~movies

The following films are listed:

Awara ( 1951)

----------------------------------------------------

There are various threads on zulm about film recommendations and various compilations.
May be we should have a sticky thread or a separate web page giving links to top film list compilations/ discussions/ synopsis etc.
Of course, one "Top 100 films" by Raj will be foremost.

-----------------------------------------------------

I'm going to save TOI Must See 25 Bollywood films list, as well as, synopsis on my PC. I feel like copying all of it on zulm as well but it won't be fair to TOI. On the other hand, these TOI web pages may not stay available for long. ??

Any Volunteers/ Suggesations??

--------------------------------------------------------

Not all our choices can be the same, but these lists are handy as we can't always recall all the films that we would have included.

---------------------------------------------------------

In TOI list, notice DEVDAS 1955 included and older Devdas of K.L.Sehgal and newer one starring SRK excluded.

Many RK films are missing too. Obviously you can't include all of RK films and fill up the 25 list, just with RK, although these may very well deserve it.

In my opinion, BLACK doesn't belong in that list. They should replace it with DIL CHAHTA HAI, SWADES or RAINCOAT. :D
