Ramarajan making a comeback

Ramarajan needs no introduction. Known for his movies of rustic simplicity, he disappeared from filmdom following a string of failures.

His movies like Enga Ooru Pattukaran and Karakattakaran brought him stardom.

After a long gap, this actor is making a comeback with Madurai Thangam. Being produced by Subburaj, the movie would star a newcomer opposite Ramarajan. Senthil, Alex, Vadivelu, Muthukalai, K R Vijaya are also in the cast.

The movie would be directed by Ravendhar, who worked as cinematographer in various movies including Velai Kidaichiduchu and Chinna Thambi would be directing the movie. The movie is expected for release this Pongal.

Ramarajan is in doldrums in his personal life as nothing has gone right for him in the last couple of years.

Ramarajan got separated from his wife Nalini some time back and has been living on the edges of penury for some time now. His 'tear story' has been the stuff of vernacular magazines of late.
