This is a remake of Priyadarshan's Malayalam film THALAVATTOM (1985). I recently had a chance to watch the original and it was an incredible film. Mohanlal's acting was first class. He plays a cheerful mental patient with a sad past. I haven't watched ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST so I cannot draw any comparison between the two films.

The ending of THALAVATTOM is so sad, they'll probably change it to suit Bollywood.

o spiky what u think? how Sallu will measure up to Mohan lal? and is pooh going to be deaf mute?

Sallu and Mohanlal there is no comparison. Mohanlal mastered the art of acting. Sallu just makes threatening phone calls. Pooh is going to be a psychiatrist unfortunately not a deaf mute. :D

i was watching avs and they had a interview with the usa distrubuter and guess who it is, its WEG :ffs: i prefer eros then them i wish they dont totally screw it up like jism etc...
