Dosti reviews on Indiafm and on Rediff are diametrically opposite. One positive and one negative. Early boxoffice reports state good collections, specially from the North Hindi Belt.

Dosti (New) Manages a very good opening at places, some single screens are excellent in the North while others are good. In Bihar it sees a record breaking opening day on 45 screens. The multiplexes have seen a very average response. The reports are fair
.

I caught this film today at AMC Ottawa, and found it OK Plus. Theatre was more than half full, where it normally is just 10-20 % full for Hindi films.
Film is not outstanding, but not bad either. Doesn't look like a cheap film. Good locales and good audio-visuals and songs. Good family entertainer just right for the holidays. Bobby, Akshay, Lara, Kareena and Juhi comback and not in elderly role. Sure to do good business in North American theatrical run.
