I think this is really in poor taste, specially in this thread.

The passing away of Mr. Sunil Dutt is a real loss to humanity. He was one of the few really good human beings in Indian Cinema and Politics, someone whose values were above petty politics and crass cinema. I must add that throughout most of Mr. Dutt's career I have personally not been a fan of him as an actor, but over the last few decades his stature in my view has slowly risen to great heights as I learnt more and more of him as a human being. He was truly a 'real life hero'.

Although I didn't like many of his films, I always liked him as a actor. He was good in each role!

Sanjay...I am sure you have heard abt The Mahabharat...Sunil Dutt was a real life version of Dhritirashtra...He was blinded by love for his son...so much so that he tried to forgive all his sons crimes. And to top it all he was an ungrateful person...(u figure out why !).. But Sunil Dutt the actor was great. In fact, I like him (as an actor) for his progressive roles and also his socially relevant movies..(Dard ka Rishta, Yeh Aag Kab Bujhegi etc.) ! I suppose the Gang of Padosan will be happy in Heaven (if you believe in those stuff)...
Sunil Dutt, Kishore Kumar, Mehmood, Mukri, Keshto Mukherjee, RD Burman, Agha ....I suppose they are waiting for Saira Banu and "lahori" from Padosan.....to complete the gang !

Was he ever paired with the late Parveen Bhabi?
