Recall, hot zulmi debates in the past where Progressive scan always ended up loosing as it's not worth it because most people don't have Progressive scan sets.

Well, now almost all DVD players on sale are Progressive Scan and start at under $ 40 (Fourty) Cdn. Most new TVs are Progressive Scan capable, starting under $ 400 Cdn. All PC screens are Progressive. All Hollywood film DVDs are progressive.

Then, why are we still stuck with interlaced video format DVDs. Instead of more and more Indians DVDs becoming available in progressive format, Indian trend is towards interlaced DVDs. Why??
