I really apologize for putting you through torture of funeral music..but there are exceptions..

So, Far all reviewers have rated this album from 8.5-9.5/10

That shows appreciation of QUALITY/NOVELT of this album, not Just EAR FRIENDLINESS at first listen!!

http://www.bollyvista.com/article/a/31/3776?bodynum=1

Again!! I will say!! People who like run of the mill, recycled tune!!
1/2 of them sound like DDLJ, other half like RAAZ with no exception..This is NOT THEIR CUP OF TEA!!
They should not better dare to listen it!!

Arsh bhai, I'm with you on this one - Rog has classy music! It's a pity the Bhatts find it necessary to alternate from great music by M.M. Kreem (Zakhm) to rehashed crap from Nadeem Shravan (Tumsa Nahin Dekha).

And I'm surprised to hear the words Andaaz and refreshing in the same sentence.............!!!!!

Most all reviewers highly recommend KKHH, KHNH,
and ANDAAZ especially the soulful,
classy, and sensual singer Sonu Nigam in KHNH.
ANDAAZ is also rated tops for Sonu Nigam and
Alka Yagnik's song 'Allah Kare Dil Na Lage' and
the touching Qawali song.

I find Rog's music about as refreshing as
Aishwarya's talented singing or Abishek's
dancing to the song ONE LOVE.

I'd rather listen to the classy tune "Teri Kurti Sexy' from Vaada soundrack, has more substance
than Rog music.

So you're talking about the same reviewers who have also said that Rog has excellent music as well................

Surprised to read you compare Tumsa Nahin Dekha to crap
which for me is composed of quality, serene, feel good type
of music.

Let's put it this way, I wouldn't use Rog's CD as a frisbee
for my dog, my dog doesn't deserve such torture!

Its a good thing you realised...........I used the Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Gumnaam, Sheen and Zinda Dil albums as CDs for my dog.....................he died from cheese poisoning......... :(

Well, Thanks Bhaskar!! I am glad some one has gutts to stand up!!

It was same thing, people rejected music of Zakhm!! because it was slow and bit situational, but it is still one of the best album!!

Bhatts, yes It is strange how they go mediocre to low with NS and Anu Malik, to the BEST again!!

So, far none of Karem's /Bhatt's sound tracks are Dudds!!

Zakhm, Sur, Jism, Rog..all have different flavours, they are fresh, novel, mellow and not run of mill!! No doubt, most listeners wont find those ear friendly!!

But you have to be fair!!

One can say, it may be good for some, but not my cup of tea!! that is reasonable to say!!

Re N-S they are mastyers of rehasing!! They have done some good work/decent tunes too!!

But mostly, average to below average, Andaaz, Raaz, Bewafa, Ek Rishta, HMBPK, Kasoor!!all I 'll rate Decent to GOOD!

They did better work in 80s etc!

But all the rest was crap!!mostly!!
Even these albums are recycled from each other!!

But they do have their fans!! No doubt, who prefer that kinda music along with kurti sexy type music too!! imho, that is CLUNK to INdian music!

I always respect other people's opinion even if I differ with it!
I dont have any intentions to make this thread into an ugly personal rigging!! because thats the only reason, zulm is not the same zulm it used to be!!

Pasand Apni Apni, Khyaal Apna Apna.

Back in the 60s, I and friends went to see an English film. It was mostly upper class (rich/ foreigners,----), but there were lots of college students as well. Before the main film, they showed a doccumentary (30 min) on Indian Classical music concert, perhaps Ravi Shankar. After the doccumentary ended, there was huge applause from every one. People who liked the concert, clapped as they liked it. Others clapped that finally the boredom has ended and now they can get on with the film they came to see. :D

Sorry Rita, I have to agree with Arsh - Kasoor is, in my opinion, a mediocre album at best. I personally think the last good albums NS did were Aa Ab Laut Chalen and Pardes.

Sexy kurti bhenji!!Lol...kidding just for reply!!

I alway approved on good albums, and u dont wana see that!! I was more generous than Bhaskar! in praising even Kasoor!! Which he thought was run of the mill!!

I am an HONEST person, and dont feel ashamed of what I think/feel!!

Yes!! Pardes was GOOD album, and credit goes to Ghaii too!!

But still I dont care!! at least you can be friend with some one!! Does not matter to me!!

Bhaskar will be privilged/thrilled to have a friend like you and free lunch too!! Why not dinner? lol
