In an interview with Mid-Day Aamir reveals that his next movie is with Rakesh Mehra titled PAINTED YELLOW. One of the producers of the movie is Angad Paul incidentally Swaraj Paul's son (of Caparo Industries (in)fame - all UK zulmis should know I guess!!). He has in the past been the exec. producer of both SNATCH and LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS.

Arjun Rampal added in Aamir's next

Arjun Rampal is the latest to join the cast of Aamir Khan's next film (after The Rising) Rang De Basanti. Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra confirmed the development. Others in the starcast of the film include some interesting offbeat actors like Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni (Chandni Bar, Satta), Prashant Narayanan (Waisa Bhi Hota Hai, Chhal) and Kunal Kapoor (Meenaxi).

The film will be made both in Hindi and English versions (the English version is titled Paint it Yellow). And contrary to what the title may suggest, the film is not a patriotic period film but a contemporary cinema set in today's times. A.R.Rahman will compose the music of the film whose budget is estimated at around Rs 40-50 crores.

Incidentally Arjun had worked with Mehra earlier on an ad-film.
