Crossover Films & Singha Communications' 'The Perfect Husband' will be premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on the 12th and 20th of May at the Palais J. at 5:30 PM on both day.

After 'Monsoon Wedding' and 'Devdas' placed Indian Cinema on the Global Platform of the Cannes in 2001 and 2002 respectively, it is Priya Singh Paul's 'The Perfect Husband' which will clinch the hat trick.

Overseas distributor Kishore Lulla of Eros International, which also created global box office history with 'Devdas' , is confident of 'The perfect Husband' winning accolades and attention at Cannes this year.

Says director Priya Singh Paul, "'The Perfect Husband' is going to make film audiences worldwide welcome Indian cinema into the folds of the mainstream white dominated cinema. The narative of 'The Perfect Husband' depends mainly on the Indian woman evolving subtly but surely inspite of the social pressures of the system that she has been born into. The global appeal of 'The Perfect Husband' is enhanced because my film exposes the Indian hypocricy in its society, seen through the eyes of a white character William (played by British actor William Randall). It is this very strategical style in my story telling which gives 'The Perfect Husband' that extra edge to score in the global market."

** BTW..music is pretty GOOD!

This 2004 film "The Perfect Husband" is showing on Pay TV on May 28.
Listing says:
(2004) suspense) Tracy Nelson, Michael Riley. A woman's new husband is possesive and violent.

Is it the same film what you mentioned Arsh??
Can they have two films of the same name releasing the same Year??

Does Indian crossover film TPH have music/ songs by Sukhvinder??
