An election battle royale is on in amchi Mumbai, as you all know, between Govinda and Ram Naik, one a seasoned politician and the other a Bollywood superstar. While one has the clout that years in the field of wheeling and dealing in the corridors of power bring, the other has the wholehearted support of the masses that have been his fans of decades. But now the politician is getting set to take on the movie star on his own ground. Ram Naik is now starting to play up his image, making it more glitzy and appealing to a wider audience. All with a little help from….guess who?...Amitabh Bachchan! No, AB is not stepping back into politics now, it is just that Naik is using a short clip from an old and much-loved Bachchan movie, ‘Shahenshah’, featuring the line, “If you want to get work done, go to Ram Naik”. It is to be part of a CD made by the BJP to showcase Naik as a man who is worthy of being a representative of the people. And, if Amitabh Bachchan says so, it should pull in the votes, they believe. Now we need to wait to see what our Chote Miyan will say to this one!
I LOVE THIS MOVIE, BUT DON'T RECALL THIS LINE. Does anyone know where in the movie it takes place!!!
If you want to get work done, go to Ram Naik”.
