To be honest, only three films in that list deserve to be there and thats Lagaan, Devdas & DDLJ.

It's also amazing how that list is dominated by All three Khans of the industry, Aamir, SRK and Salman :hmm:

rana,U should watch HHRPK/KMG, both r WAY BETTER than K3G/KHNH/CC etc!!

Somehow, totally missed out on HHRPK. Never heard of it. Any idea, what kind of a film this is and who the actors were??

Do you guys notice how many Aamir Khan movies are in this list from the last decade. Seriously if you look at my ratings above, it would say that Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke is better than Lagaan and Raja Hindustani. While I don't think its considerably true, I think that Lagaan and Raja Hindustani have no real repeat value. I've seen Lagaan twice, and personally I don't think I'll ever see it again. I obviously prefer DCH. And Raja Hindustani was a great movie for the first time around, but looking back after all these years, it is pretty downright retarded. Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke is not really a Best Picture worthy movie, however it is a paisa vasool movie like Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, which could be watched over and over again.


That said, where's the best two Aamir Khan movies in that list - Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and his BEST MOVIE EVER - Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander???

Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke ***1/2 - fun flick
Hum Aapke Hain Koun * - still hate it
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge ***** - all-time favorite
Raja Hindustani 0 - wtf was this
Dil To Pagal Hai *1/2 - one of the worst YR films
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ***1/2 - entertaining
Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam ***1/2 - Salman did his best to ruin it
Kaho Na...Pyar Hai ** - good for HR but overrated
Lagaan (2001) ***** - awesome
Devdas (2002) **1/2 - could've been so much better
Koi...Mil Gaya (2003) ** - innovative and good for HR but poor execution

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) ***1/2 (Mostly because of music and cinematography. Remove Salman and it would've been a classic.)

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) *** (Kickstarted the Bollywood fever back in southeast Asia.)

Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993)*** (I doubt Mahesh Bhatt really directed this.)

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) **1/2 (Ok, but a tad too dramatic.)

Koi...Mil Gaya (2003) **1/2 (who'd have thought I could ever accept a Rakesh Roshan film?)

Kaho Na...Pyar Hai (2000) * (If not for Hrithik, this is absolute crap.)

Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994) 1/2 star (pretentious, pretentious, pretentious)

Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) 0 star (Just doesn't interest me.)

Raja Hindustani (1996) 0 star (I don't understand why this movie is here.)

HAHK***(for MADHURI/MUSIC/FUN)..too long, stretched to hell!!

DDLJ ****( MELO DRAMATIC, but SINCERE effort by chopras..now their future depends upon copying this film, 4 overseas idiots to their best with NRIs to sell it BACK TO THEM)

RAJA HINDUSTANI**1/2(KARISMA got SECOND LIFE)

KKHH**1/2( REMAKE of DDLJ,etc with a different twist!FACE VALUE with STARS!)

HDDCS**(STRICTLY for LOOKS/FACE VALUE, MUSIC)

KNPH**( for HRITHIK being BORN)

LAGAAN****( NEW STORY, NO GLOSS, DIFFERENT TREATMENT, GOOD MUSIC..TOO LONG)

DEVDAS***( REMAKE, EXCELLENT MUSIC/FACE VALUE/STARS VALUE)

KMG**1/2( REMAKE of ET in HINDI STYLE, FUN VALUE for masses!! Hrithik was GOOD)

In 1997 Dil To Pagal Hai won the award for Best Film but Pardes and Virasat were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better!! :ffs:
