since i am not from india and never been there i was just wondering if the way people dress in the movies is how they actually dress every day. take for instant the girls will dress with these short skirts or dresses and sort of a hot pants for undies, some of the outfits seems like they are ladys of the evenings just wondering and don't mean to offend anyone here even the older women at home will wear these expensive sari all bedecked with jewelries from a westerner stand point this don't seem natural jst voicing my thoughts aloud ???

I was greatly disappointed when I went to India and discovered that no one danced on the streets and gardens. I wonder why they show that in the movies.

The clothes in Hindi movies, like most other things in them have no similarity to the real world. Although I must say that at times I am shocked by the clothes of some of the younger generation, nowasdays.
