Sriram with Urmila again?

Sriram Raghavan's directorial debut EK HASINA THI may not have emerged trumps at the ticket window, but it did succeed in winning critical acclaim from reputed critics. Besides extracting superb performances from the principal cast, Sriram also won immense praise for the deft handling of the subject.
So, what is Sriram doing currently? According to reliable sources, the talented director is geared up to start work on his new film, a hard-hitting fare with no songs. “That's true,†he tells me, “I am working on two/three [story] ideas currently and should be able to zero in on one of them in the next ten days.â€
With Ramgopal Varma and K. Sera Sera tying up with Sahara India Pariwar to produce ten films in a period of two-and-a-half years, there's talk that Sriram has been roped in to direct one of the projects. “Hopefully, Ramu-ji will produce my second film as well,†the reticent director smiles, thereby indirectly confirming the development.
Though Sriram hasn't told us this, there are whispers that his next film will also star Urmila Matondkar in a never-seen-before role. Watch this space!
