Yes!! indeed if we go by BHED CHAR music, of NS, it will be HIT like ANDAAZ/RAAZ, But all NS music had not been successful like dat last year!

anil kapoor/akshay, sushmita sen, kareena( i guess) and boney kapoor production/dharmesh darshan director..music should be coming out soon, i guess!not to forget, manoj bajpai

both Lata and Asha included!

But I am afraid, Anil kapoor had been a failure at BO lately..

Shamita's-Manoj: Smooooooch!
She created quite a sensation when she kissed Uday Chopra in Mohabbatein. But kiss did not take Shamita Shetty's career places. Looks like she is making one more attempt. This time she has kissed Manoj Bajpai for Dharmesh Darshan's Bewaffa-The Unfaithful starring Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita Sen and Kareena Kapoor. Wonder what Shamita is doing in the film? Oh its only a guest appearance!

Kareena to bounce back?

So what if Kareena Kapoor couldn't leave an impact last year. The actress is all set to bounce back and silence her detractors with a cache of big banner films this year. “There is Dharmesh Darshan's BEWAFA, where my character has shades of grey. This would be followed by another offbeat role in Govind Nihalani's DEV, where I get a chance to act with Mr. Bachchan once again. My other films include Satish Kaushik's MILENGE MILENGE and Ken Ghosh's FIDAA. Don't worry, there will be a lot of me in 2004,” laughs Kareena.

Admitting that 2003 was a bad year for her, she nevertheless is hopeful that the new year will bring her luck. Let's wait and watch!

Bewafaa – an unfaithful title

Boney Kapoor's upcoming film directed by Dharmesh Darshan and starring Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai and Shamita Shetty is facing legal problems over it's title. Boney Kapoor, who has so far publicized the film as Bewafa – The Unfaithful, is said to have been using this title without the required clearance.

The title Bewafaa and Bewafaa – The Unfaithful are reserved by Dayavanti Films and Sridevi Productions are said to be using this title illegally. It's learnt that Boney Kapoor had been constantly pleading to Dayavanti Films for the title, but in vain.

So don't be surprised if you come across a Dharmesh Darshan film with the same starcast but different name. As they say, what's in the name?

How can a movie title be registered like that unless it is a trademark like Lord of the Rings or something?

As I read somewhere some time ago:

In India, they do have a system whereby anyone can register a film name for a nominal fee (used to be Rs 50). It's registered for 10 Yrs, after that it can be renewed. One film maker was notorious for registering all kind of catchy names. (I think, it was Manoj Kumar). There are many instances, where a producer pays a premium to buy a registered name, if he thinks it to be of importance.

Many a times a new film comes with the same name as released many Yrs ago. Obviously, the film maker didn't bother to renew his registration when it expired.

Raj Kapoor used to renew the movie names produced by RK Films before it gets expired (10 years) until he was alive. So there wasn't a movie by the same name produced by RK Films.

this title changes happens in US aswell... Look at Gladiator and The Rookie. In both cases, the different titles had nothing to do with their previous adaptations.

In India, this happened most recently with AANKHEN.


OH and Bewafaa is not a copy of a South Indian movie but its a remake of B.R. Chopra's GUMRAAH with Akshay Kumar playing the Sunil Dutt role and Anil Kapoor playing the Ashok Kumar role. The story is about Akshay Kumar, who discovers that his girlfriend (Kareena) has married her dead sister's husband (Anil Kapoor). Akshay then sets out to get Kareena back, while Anil gets jealous and hires two bad guys after Akshay - Manoj Bajpai and Shamita Shetty. Sushmita Sen has a special appearance in the movie as Anil's dead first wife.

Bewafaa - What's in a name?

Or so said Shakespeare! And the answer is a lot. At least where the Hindi film industry is concerned. Producer Boney Kapoor may have to change the title of his film Bewafaa - The Unfaithful to something else or simply just call it Gumrah part 2, since Gumrah was the film that inspired Dharmesh Darshan to make Bewafaa. Title owner producer Vikas Mohan has filed a complaint stating that Sridevi Productions has not obtained the required clearance from them to use the title. Boney Kapoor's Bewafaa-The Unfaithful stars Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Sushmita Sen.

*** BONEY/SRI are GUMRAH themselves!!

As Boney Kapoor has delayed his ´Bewafa´ to accomadate ´Run´ , it now seems that he wants to utilise the time and perk up ´Bewafa´ further .

According to the buzz , a sizzling song by Priyanka Chopra which some refer to as ´item number´ , is being added to ´Bewafa´ . The film reportedly has one of the best soundtracks of 2004 .

Cast is killer!! theatre preview looked good!

heard the music. NS have given decent music, not as good as Dhadkan but definately better than the shocking Gumnaam! anyway my personal fav from album are Ek Dilruba Hai & Pyaar Ka Anjaam.
