Just come back from watching half of Aetabaar at UCI Trafford Centre and I have to say it was a nightmare.. the movie was great however, the editing was soo badly done that it just didnt flow.. waht is the pint...

heres the flow of a particular scene..

John Abraham Doesnt wanna get it on with a prostitue
Prostitute slaps John Abraham.
John Abraham goes psycho.
He agrees to "go" with her.
Walks into the empty room.
Then the scene cuts away to the women in hospital.. i mean WTF :ffs:

For a thriller u`d expect the psychotic action scenes.. but this took the piss... I cudnt carry on watching it so walked out at the interval..

As for the film.. it started of slow, Bipashu was ugly but AB and John Abraham were great... it seemed as though it would really take off after the interval, but i dont think i cud have sat through watching a heavily edited movie...

I mean just imagine watching Sholay without Thakurs Khusay...

Looks like im gonna have to wait for the DVD

So on top of the bad editing you will have mediocre colors and a soft picture :)

Khakee is showing in Switzerland too: http://www.cinedrome.ch
Aetbaar was probably edited for UK? Did you see the
original cut? I remember Fiza was edited too in UK for
violence.

the movie was a bit poor at the beginning.. but AB kicked off the interval with a kick arse array of dialougues and told John Abraham he will get his own back if he messed around with his daughter.. i really wish i cud have finished off watching it.. but the thing was the editing was so bad it just really made it unwatchable.. i very much doubt the DVD will be like this..

I cant wait to watch khakhee tho..

i saw aetbaar and i dont think it was edited...
he goes in the room with the prostitute..
punches her in the stomach..
then smashes her face on the window..

if they edited that out then the second half wouldve have been edited quite a bit..

Yeah I caught this yesterday too. It was a pretty cheesy B-grade movie only saved by Amitabh's strong performance in what could be described as a ridiculous character, the very very overprotective father. I do think that John Abraham, who has given better perfs. in other films, comes off not so well here. He basically shakes in almost every scene, not looking like he's angry, but more like he's having a seizure. The film also used the cheesy pop tune, "AM To PM" by Christina Milian, in an interesting way during the confrontation btwn. Amitabh and John. And finally, the saving grace is where the Big B gets to lay out a can of whupp a** on someone who obviously would seem to be stronger than him. I'll at least give director Vikram Bhatt credit for keeping a straight face and telling this story in a clear, if pretty gritty and over-the-top fashion. And yes, I'll agree with that poster that that scene where Abraham beats up the prostitute does happen where he punches her in the stomach, smashes her face into the mirror a couple times, and then she falls. Cut to next scene. This film prob. works as a rental, nothing more.
