I'll be watching Revolutions this Thursday most probably at the Paramount in IMAX. I've never experienced matrix in 3d, so I'm definetely looking forward to it.

Anybody else watching the flick opening day/this week?

Sure does!

I find there isn't as much hype surrounding this one which is quite surprising seeing as its the last one. I guess many ppl were disappointed by the second one.

I have no doubts though this one will be a smash with the audiences!

That's true! WB is not doing any crazy advertisments with this one. Revolutions will probably be the underrated movie of the Triology.

I found something cool from IMDB.COM

They got 3 Indian characters in REVOLUTION:

1) Tanveer Atwal- If you have seen the REVOLUTION trailer, you might've noticed the little Indian girl with NEO at the train station. Her character name is Sati. I think she plays a big role in this movie, she listed just below the Oracle.

2) Tharini Mudaliar- Kamala

3)Bernard White- As Sati's father Rama

I think none of them plays a cab driver or runs a 7-11 :D Hoping!!! :baaa:

I hear ya....out of all the scenes in Reloaded, that one probably was the most worthless one in that particular segment.

People were expecting something huge from Reloaded, but I have a feeling people will be pleasantly surprised about Revolutions.

Wow, out of all the parts in the trilogy this one really has an indian influence.

There's one indian fusion type song on the soundtrack as well, titled "Navras". Very well composed I have to say, sounds almost like a Rahman-esque type of composition. You can hear them chanting "om shanti" throughout.

I'm sure they need computer engineers in the Matrix

Wow. 336 shows daily in Greater Toronto area in the opening weeks.
http://www.cinemaclock.com/aw....lutions

This translates to 1 show daily for a population of 10,000 for Matrix.

For Indian films we get:

0 shows in Montral for a South Asian population of 100,000.

0 shows in Ottawa for a South Asian population of 10,000.

1 to 15 shows in Toronto for a South Asian population of 400,000.

I just got back from watching REVOLUTIONS at our local theater. And I think its truly the love it or hate it movie of the Triology. It all depends on the expectations of the viewer for the ending after watching 1&2.

I enjoyed the movie. It didn't had the same number of exciting action scenes as 1&2. But the ones it had were very well done. I missed the Oracle from the first two movies. The lady playing the Oracle was just ok. Sati's character was very well done. Bill Pope's cinematography like the other 2 movies, was excellent. The special effects were morewell polished than reloaded. In my opinion CGI humans never looked good in closeups and medium shots. Revolutions only had a couple of scenes featuring CGI neo and smith, and as expected they are very obvious.

Sound mix was well done but still not at the level set by the Orginal Matrix. The part were theMachines breaching into the human city is definately demo material for sound. I saw it in DTS, during couple of occasions the track defaulted into Dolby stereo :ffs:

Overall i give this a 4/5. Can't wait for the dvd!
