Watched this film for the 1st time last, it was brilliant !! The first film i will give 10/10 since a long time.
How many other people have watched this film ?
It explores the relationship between 2 people of different faiths against the backdrop of communal riots, it has one of the most scariest scenes i have ever seen in any form of cinema and left me thinking about it for ages afterwards. (I am now thinking twice about visiting India now with the kids!)
I think this type of cinema needs to be promoted more rather then the crap that gets churned out day after day. The lead performances were excellent, Rahul Bose was perfect for the role.
The film works on so many different levels it is amazing, it also carries a moral message, that if we actually judged a person for themselves and not the faith they profess the world would be a much better place. If only that were possible !
