AISH DENIES SHE VISITED PAKISTAN

This is not the first time that Bollywood stars have visited Pakistan. Celebrities like Juhi Chawla and Malaika Arora have visited Pakistan with relatives and stayed there with friends and their families from time to time. But the news about Aishwarya Rai's visit to Pakistan has created ripples. Pakistan's newspaper The News reported that the Indian beauty visited Pakistan and stayed at a farmhouse belonging to a Pakistani politician. The newspaper has not named the Pakistani politician though. Aishwarya has, however, denied the Pak report. Besides, she has expressed an utter surprise over her reported visit to Pakistan. " I am completely flabbergasted. I have never visited Pakistan. It is not on my agenda in the near future." She wonders how could she do it in the wake of her tight shooting schedule. "Of course, sometime in the future I would love to visit Pakistan", she added.
The actress's mother, Vrinda Rai, too was shocked to hear the news of her daughter's visit to Pakistan as reported in a section of the Pakistan press. "How come there has not been a single photograph to establish the visit? Wouldn't there have been a media splash, had it been true?" In fact, Aish has been in London for quite some time. She has been very busy in the shooting for Bride and Prejudice. Her director Gurinder Chadha wouldn't let her leave the shoot, she added.
