Aparna Sen to make Hindi film
Pritish Nandy Communications has signed Kolkatta director Aparna Sen to direct a Hindi thriller. Reports have it that Sen has approached Ajay Devgan to play a lead in this one. It may be noted that Ajay was recently in Kolkatta shooting for Mani Ratnam's film. The director as reported met up with him there. If Ajay green signals the project, this will be his first film with a woman director. Aparna Sen was recently in news for her film Mr & Mrs Iyer that has bagged several awards internationally.
