"Baba" to speak in Hindi!

It is almost a year since Rajnikanth's Baba released (August 15- 2002). The actor has still not got over the debacle of the film and ever since, he has been hearing stories from various directors and the news about his next project being directed by K.S.Ravi Kumar, Teja and even Hari ("Saamy" fame) is going around.
But our superstar is not happy with any of the subject, as after giving a patient hearing, he backs out, as he is not confident about the viability of the project. The latest news is that Rajnikanth is dubbing his Baba into Hindi and is hoping to release it by August. He has reduced the length of the film by editing almost 42 minutes of the original and has dubbed in his own voice.
The plus points of the film in Hindi are Manisha Koirala, Amrish Puri and most important A.R.Rahman's music that will get him money from the audio sales. So Rajni stands to make some money from this dubbed Baba. Meanwhile back home Rajni continues the search for that elusive script that will bring him back the lost glory.
The film was a flop in Tamil and probably in the Telugu dubbed version as well. Aside from the possibility that dubbed Hindi films are not viable these days, what makes Rajini think that people will go see this? Even Rahman's music is mediocre, so I doubt the soundtrack will be a chartbuster in Hindi.
