Bobby ran away from Delhi when he was 17 years old on the persuasion of a friend and reached Hong Kong. As luck would have it, Bobby returned to Delhi on the news of his mother's illness. Besides, his colleague also left him after getting married. The Delhi boy who had traveled to Hong Kong from Delhi didn't mind visiting Mumbai. There, he says, he had the hardest time of his life when he had to beg at the doors of film directors for a job to earn his livelihood. Alas, nobody obliged, and the guy slept at railway stations, but managed to survive. Meanwhile, he happened to read an interview of a top film actress. Her interview encouraged him and Bobby commenced job searching once again. Rekha, in her interview, had said that if one has the will, the way is not far behind.

He felt very excited and on the top of the world. Later, the boy did several movies - one after another. He did Lawrence D'souza's 'Dil Bhi Kya Cheez Hai' (not yet released though), followed by 'Na Tum Jaano Na Hum', 'Maine Dil Tujhe Diya', Jeena Sirf Tere Liya' and 'Valentine's Day'.
Now he has acted in 'Chalte Chalte'. In this movie, he has the proud privilege of playing Rani Mukherjee's best friend. What luck! Then follows 'Taj Mahal,' where he plays ' Ghulab' and in 'Stumped' he has done an item number. He has done TV serials like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and 'Kitty Party' too. He has a new film where he plays a killer. He dreams of doing a role with the men he's fascinated with - Akshay Kumar, and cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Ddarling wishes to be as dynamic an actor as Anupam Kher. He is his idol as Kher experimented with different roles successfully, he adds.

But when he grew up he discovered that he is a boy. Maybe this made him flee from home with a friend. But his family has boycotted him since then. His courage has brought him where he is now, thanks to his patron, Subhash Ghai.
